Setting Engine Security

Engine security must only be set when Engine is not in use by any applications.

The following procedure is recommended best practice:

1. Shutdown Campaign Manager. Refer to Starting and Stopping Campaign Manager.
2. Verify that Engine is not running, Engine should start and stop naturally as you use AMC.
3. Use AMC to setup Engine security as required.  Refer to the Management Console section of the Engine Help for more information.
4. Verify that Engine is not running.
5. Restart Campaign Manager. Refer to Starting and Stopping Campaign Manager.
